Come and join us to explore the underrated kent coast.
Our adventure will be focused mainly around pegwell bay we will trek along the sea font.
We will also get the opportunity to see sea life.
We will meet at Peopledem HQ
49 Marine Terrace, Margate CT9 1XJ.
A fun session of learning about forgaing and meditation by the sea.
10:00 AM Ideal time to arrive for car pool from PeopleDem Margate - Get changed, meet everyone, ask NBE questions

There will be signage to show you where we are, or look for the person of female presentation, afro heritage, 5ft and wearing head to toe in orange.
10:30 AM We will car pool to Pegwell Bay leaving from PeopleDem and this is where will return to.
11:15 Arrival at Pegwell & Welcome from NBE
Please get in touch if you will to travel, or join a car pool to the session from another location i.e london.
There will be signage to show you where to meet us to start the session.
11:30 AM Session starts promptly
Bekah from Earth Child Forager will be our fascilitator for the day.
You'll get the opportunity to enjoy a 1hr foraging session, and go for a trek around the pegwell seaside coast.
There will be people with high-vis vests on to ask questions.
1:00 PM Socialise
We will Trek for an hr then return to Margate for refreshments.
Those of us from Margate will leave be car pool to PeopleDem Margate to drop off.
2:00 PM Goodbyes

Our Forage Fascilitators Bio:
Bekah is a Herbal medicine enthusiast, Urban Forager, Community Wellness Builder, Sociopolitical Photographer, Facilitator and Producer
Through her work, Williams’ mission is to create and build spaces where those who are underrepresented and are the keepers of incredibly rich and nuances stories can be seen, heard and appreciated. Specifically by ensuring the arts and wellness is more available and accessible to those from the Global Majority.
She is a huge advocate for assisting and inspiring Black and Brown people to return to nature, reclaim ancestral plant knowledge and ethically forage as a way to manage mental, physical and spiritual health in communion with others. She is also a scared circle facilitator for women and femmes from the Global Majority.
What to expect from the event:

- There will be signage to show you where we are.

Bus 8 to Margate Train Station
