WE'RE HAVING A PARTY ........ On 6th August, the NBE invites you to join us at our NBE Community Mixer.

Get ready for an epic mixer with our community. Whether you're a seasoned trekker or love food/dancing, this mixer offers a unique opportunity to connect with others who share your passion for community social. This amazing event is FREE for everyone!

Come and join us to eat good food and be merry.

Our adventure will be focused mainly on the joys of the carnival.

We will also get the opportunity to see the side coast as we travel long each harbour.

ITENARY

Join Carnival

10:30 AM Ideal time to arrive - Get changed, meet everyone, ask NBE questions

We will meet at Prince's Walk (Margate Carnival Starting Point)

Prince's Walk, Cliftonville, Margate CT9 3NR

There will be signage to show you where we are or look for the person of female presentation, afro heritage, 5ft and wearing head to toe in orange.

Please get in touch if you'd like to travel buddy, or join a car pool.

10:50 AM Welcome instruction from NBE about the carnival and bbq

11:00 AM Carnival starts 

During the trek, people with high-vis vests will be on to ask questions.

At any point, there will be someone on hand to help you.

BBQ

3:30 PM Carnival participants will meet at Peopledem 

Anyone who watched the carnival or is in town is welcome to wait at Main Sands Beach where the bbq will be set up 

We encourage all to join us  for refreshments and celebration

What to expect from the event:

• Please bring a bottle of water
• There will be signage to show you where we are.
• During the trek, people with high-vis vests will be on to ask questions.
• We will be taking pictures if you do not want to be photographed or want to see photographs after the event before they are used for marketing or social media/ website please email nbefitness@gmail.com

What we're doing to prevent the spread of COVID-19:

• We provide gluten-free/no-nut snacks, sanitiser, antibacterial spray and paper towels

Car: Parking is free parking for visitors at Dreamland

Train: Only a 3-4 minute walk from Margate Train station.

Bus: 8 (will also take you to the Prince's Walk to meet for the carnival)

Cycle: Cycling makes for an environmentally friendly and pleasant way to arrive at the centre
