Step into a tranquil, immersive drop-in retreat created by artist Philly Rose Scott. Waves of Calm is a soothing visual and sensory installation inspired by the shifting tides of the Kent coastline. Slow-moving waves, glowing colour gradients and gentle ambient sound combine to create the sensation of watching the sea breathe.
This is not a traditional workshop, but a calm, restorative space designed for easy enjoyment and quiet reflection. Using large-scale projection and soft lighting, the installation transforms the gallery into a peaceful sanctuary, inviting visitors to pause, rest, and be.
No prior knowledge or participation is required. Visitors are welcome to drop in at any point during opening hours and stay for as long or as little as they wish.
